HAVE A GREAT NIGHT DOING A GREAT AMOUNT OF GOOD

An evening of delectable food, drinks, and live entertainment!

For our 2023 Gala Dinner, we are excited to bring you musical entertainment from Balinese - Adelaide artist De Miko (check him out at AROUND MUSIC - YouTube) supported by our own members, who are sure to have the dancefloor packed.

There will be opportunities to bid on some outstanding live and silent auction items on offer, and take home a stunning bottle of SA wine with our Wine Wall.

Together with our MC, Australian actress Cintya Dharmayanti (of Ticket to Paradise), we cannot wait to host you for an amazing night and raise much-needed funds for a Balinese - Hindu cultural hub and temple in Adelaide.

THE PURPOSE BEHIND THE PARTY

Celebrate and promote cross-cultural awareness and understanding in South Australia.

Currently the Balinese Society of South Australia provides numerous services to the public with difficulty because of the fact that we do not currently have a representative space. We regularly hold festivals at the resident of our members, which often has a severe space limitation. Nevertheless, the services that we provide include adult programs, children programs, family services, community outreach programs, and hosting religious and cultural events.

The construction of a cultural hub and temple is a major undertaking, and we cannot do it alone. We need the support of our community to make this dream a reality. That is why we are asking for your help.

We are seeking your support in building this cultural hub and temple and would highly appreciate your generous contributions. Your generous contribution will make a difference in the community, especially the younger generations in promoting a vibrant and inclusive society.

MINI ART EXHIBITION

Showcasing artwork by Kunang Sutra Agung, a South Australian Visual Artist.

Kunang is a visual artist, predominantly experimenting with painting, sculpture and jewellery.

Exploring spatial and spiritual orientation, with a strong Balinese Hindu heritage and present day Western spiritual movement influence, Kunang blends her personal embodiment process and creative practice to produce vivid and evocative representations of soma and psyche.

Kunang aims to provide insight and reflection and hopes to inspire viewers to turn their focus towards their ‘Self’. Through her artwork, Kunang’s goal is to encourage the connection that we have with ancestral wisdom, the Great Mother and a deep recognition of universal energy.
